PHASE 2. Generic quantitative risk assessment

This is required if a site is known to have a potentially contaminative history from prior knowledge or from a recent Phase 1 study.

The assessment will include:

• Review of all site information to date
• Possible consultation with the local authority contaminated land officer
• Site visit to BS10175 for inspection of contamination sources, pathways and receptors to UK Government guidelines.
• Soil and possibly water sampling for analysis
• Risk assessment report to UK Government specification CLR11
